Physical and chemical properties:White crystals.Melting point 240 °C. Soluble in water and alcohol, aqueous solution is almost neutral, insoluble in ether, petroleum ether, benzene and carbon disulfide. A slight stench of fish, salty bitter taste, easily deliquescence, unstable in alkaline solution.
